Pafos FC signs Serbian midfielder Luka Ilic

Cypriot champion Pafos FC has reportedly secured the transfer of 27-year-old attacking midfielder Luka Ilic. According to reports from the Serbian outlet Sportskacentrala, Ilic has signed a contract with the Cypriot side following his departure from the Spanish club Real Oviedo, where he had mutually agreed to terminate his contract. Ilic had joined the Spanish team last summer for two million euros under the request of former coach Veljko Paunovic, but he struggled to secure a starting role, recording 20 appearances and two goals.

The Serbian midfielder is a graduate of the Red Star Belgrade academy, where he made 62 appearances and won two league titles and a Serbian Cup. Throughout his career, he has played for several clubs, including Manchester City, NAC Breda, Twente, Troyes, and Backa Topola, and has also earned one cap for the Serbian national team.
