Nicosia traffic expected to be disrupted by protest on September 3

Employees of the support programs of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth in Cyprus are scheduled to hold a protest on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The participants intend to gather at the PASYDY premises starting at 09:30 local time before commencing a march towards the Presidential Palace.

Local police authorities have issued an advisory regarding expected temporary traffic disruptions along the route from the PASYDY site to the Presidential Palace area.
