AEK Larnaca linked with Torino goalkeeper Alberto Paleari

Italian media reports suggest that AEK Larnaca is close to finalizing the transfer of Torino goalkeeper Alberto Paleari. The 33-year-old, whose age is cited as 34 in some sources, is expected to arrive in Cyprus shortly to complete the move as he is no longer part of the Italian club's plans following recent roster additions. With the transfer window in Cyprus remaining open until September 9, 2026, the deal is expected to conclude soon.

Paleari, a product of the AC Milan youth academy, has had an extensive career in Italy. Since starting professionally in 2011 with Ponte San Pietro, he has played for various clubs including Tritium Calcio, Virtus Verona, Mantova, and Giana Erminio. He notably spent four years at Cittadella, where he made 102 appearances, before eventually moving to Torino. The transition to the Cypriot side represents a significant shift for the experienced goalkeeper, as AEK technical director Xavi Roca looks to solidify the team's defensive lineup for the season.
