Alberto Paleari set to join AEK Larnaca

Italian goalkeeper Alberto Paleari is expected to sign with AEK Larnaca as the club looks to strengthen its defensive lineup. The 34-year-old player, who has fallen out of favor at Torino following recent roster changes, has reportedly agreed to terminate his contract with the Italian side to facilitate the move to Cyprus. Renowned transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that the deal is effectively finalized, with the player having already bid farewell to his former teammates.

AEK Larnaca sporting director Xavi Roca has been actively searching for a reliable goalkeeper to serve as the team's primary choice, as the current options have failed to fully impress. The proposed agreement is for a two-year contract. With the transfer window in Cyprus remaining open until September 9, the club is moving quickly to complete the signing. Paleari brings extensive experience to the team, having previously played for several Italian clubs including Cittadella, Genoa, and Benevento, and recorded 29 appearances in Serie A last season.
