Levadiakos midfielder Ioannis Kosti receives transfer offer from UAE club

A club from the United Arab Emirates has submitted an official offer of 1.5 million euros to acquire 26-year-old Cypriot midfielder Ioannis Kosti from the Greek team Levadiakos. While the current contract of the player extends until the summer of 2028, Levadiakos is reportedly seeking a higher fee for his transfer. However, sources indicate that the financial gap between the club's valuation and the current offer is not significant.

Kosti joined Levadiakos in the summer of 2024 and became a key player for the squad, recording 34 appearances and five goals last season as the team competed in the 5-8 play-off group. Previously, the midfielder has attracted interest from clubs in France and Belgium, and was close to joining Greek Super League sides PAOK and Panathinaikos in previous transfer windows.

Because the transfer window in the United Arab Emirates remains open until September 27, negotiations between the parties are ongoing. Both sides have time to bridge the minor valuation difference before the deadline expires, as the player remains under contract with his current Greek club.
