Four more arrested over violent attack at Nea Salamina event
Larnaca police have arrested four additional individuals in connection with a violent disturbance that occurred during a fan event hosted by Nea Salamina. The suspects include a 27-year-old man and three minors aged 14, 15, and 17. These arrests bring the total number of people detained in relation to the investigation to twelve.
Authorities have also issued two new arrest warrants for two additional suspects, aged 16 and 23, who remain at large. The four individuals currently in custody are scheduled to appear before the Larnaca District Court tomorrow, where police will request their remand for further questioning. The investigation remains active as authorities work to identify and locate an additional 18 suspects believed to have been involved in the incident.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) continues its efforts to track down those involved in the attack, which left three people hospitalized with injuries. Police officials have formally appealed to the public for information that could assist in identifying the remaining participants of the unrest.
