Tasos Bakasetas joins APOEL on a two-year contract

Greek national team captain Tasos Bakasetas has officially joined the Cypriot club APOEL, completing his move from Panathinaikos on September 5, 2026. The 33-year-old midfielder signed a two-year contract following a successful medical examination in Nicosia. The transfer was facilitated by an agreement to terminate his existing contract with Panathinaikos, which included a significant compensation package reportedly amounting to 1.3 million euros.
