Production company Acun Medya has issued a formal denial regarding reports that a former contestant, 22-year-old Stavros Floros, filed a $100 million lawsuit against them. The claims follow a severe accident in the Dominican Republic that resulted in the amputation of Floros' left leg while he was reportedly spearfishing. The company characterizes the reports, which originated in foreign media outlets like TMZ and spread to Greece and Turkey, as unfounded, baseless, and defamatory.

Acun Medya asserts it has not received any formal notice of such a lawsuit and is unaware of its specific contents. The production firm stated it reserves its legal rights to take action against those spreading these allegations. Conversely, reports citing the legal filing suggest that the lawsuit accuses the production team of failing to ensure adequate safety protocols for participants during the filming of the Survivor reality show.

While the company continues to publicly support its participants, the situation has escalated, with Acun Medya threatening legal repercussions against media outlets propagating the claims.
