Apollon secures first victory of the season against Anorthosis

Apollon Limassol achieved its first victory of the 2026-2027 Cyprus League by Stoiximan season, defeating Anorthosis Famagusta 3-1 at the Alphamega Stadium on September 5, 2026. The match, part of the second round of the league, saw Apollon take the lead through Gary Rodrigues in the 44th minute, though Kiko leveled for Anorthosis via a penalty just before halftime.

In the second half, Apollon dominated the field as Alen Ozbolt scored twice, including a late penalty in the 89th minute, to seal the final 3-1 score.
