Leaders of Cyprus, Greece, and Egypt to hold trilateral meeting in El Alamein

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, are scheduled to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in El Alamein next Tuesday. The meeting, which includes both a trilateral session and individual bilateral discussions, was organized at the invitation of President el-Sisi on the occasion of the El-Alamein International Airshow.

The discussions are set to cover key regional developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and strategies to strengthen the trilateral cooperation between the three nations. A major point of interest is the recent 'Mecca Pact' and ongoing discussions regarding Egypt's potential involvement in the agreement. President Christodoulides described the summit as a significant opportunity to address regional stability and further enhance the existing positive diplomatic ties between Cyprus and Egypt.
