Forest fire contained in Androlikou, Paphos

A forest fire broke out in the 'Mersinoudia' area of Androlikou village, within the Paphos district, on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The blaze was reported at 18:20 and was brought under full control by firefighting forces within fifteen minutes, at 18:35.

The firefighting operation involved four personnel from the Department of Forests, who utilized one fire truck to manage the situation. The fire burned a small area consisting primarily of dry grass before it was successfully extinguished.
