The Cyprus market took off in July

Retail trade in Cyprus experienced strong growth in July 2026, with sales value increasing by 11% and volume by 8.9% compared to the previous year. Significant gains were observed in IT equipment, household goods, and apparel, while fuel and food sectors showed high value growth driven primarily by price increases rather than consumption volume. For the first seven months of the year, the market showed a consistent upward trend with total value rising by 7.9% and volume by 6.3%.
