Popi Christoforou, mother of the Mari twins, has passed away

Popi Christoforou, the mother of twins Miltos and Christos who died in the 2011 Mari naval base explosion, has passed away. She spent the last 15 years grieving the loss of her 19-year-old sons while consistently demanding justice and accountability for the tragedy that claimed 13 lives in total. Throughout the years, she remained a prominent figure in memorial services, ensuring the memory of the victims lived on.
