Cyprus Police issue multiple wanted notices for various criminal investigations
The Cyprus Police have recently released several public appeals for information regarding suspects involved in various crimes across the island. In Limassol, authorities are searching for an unidentified individual in connection with a car theft on August 30, 2026. Simultaneously, a separate investigation is underway in Larnaca concerning property theft that occurred on August 15, 2026. Furthermore, a 30-year-old Egyptian national, Sabed Nasim Sabet Awad, is wanted in connection with serious criminal offenses, with police directing the public to the Pera Chorio station for tips.
In Nicosia, police have identified three individuals sought for a spree of burglaries, property theft, and motorcycle theft occurring between August 18 and September 7, 2026. The wanted suspects include 18-year-old Andrian Daniel Slapan from Romania, 17-year-old Malek Alsharqawi from Syria, and 17-year-old Samir Doqsi (Asmar). Authorities have released photographs and are urging anyone with information to contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or the citizen's hotline at 1460. The investigations remain ongoing as police work to locate these individuals.
