Separately, a 23-year-old man was arrested for defrauding a 62-year-old out of over 15,437 euros under the guise of selling boat equipment, while a 44-year-old woman was also detained for allegedly blackmailing the victim to prevent him from reporting the fraud.

Authorities continue to urge the public to provide information regarding criminal activities through local stations or the 1460 citizen hotline.
