Allwyn Cyprus 3x3 Series concludes with championship final in Limassol

The 2026 Allwyn Cyprus 3x3 Series concluded on the weekend of September 5 and 6 at the Pavlos Kontides Pier on the Molos seafront in Limassol. The event featured the top 12 teams selected from six regional tournaments held throughout the year, including stops in Nicosia, Paphos, and Omodos. The winning team earned the title of 2026 Cyprus champion and secured a qualification spot for an international basketball tournament scheduled to take place in Greece in 2027.

Organized for the 11th consecutive year, the FIBA-recognized series focused on fostering inclusion and community engagement. Beyond the main competition, the program included wheelchair basketball matches and a sports seminar titled 'Championship: The resilience behind every victory.' The seminar featured insights from notable athletes Lazaros Papadopoulos, Milan Trajkovic, and Nektarios Alexandrou, who discussed the perseverance required for athletic success. This initiative highlights the organizers' ongoing commitment to providing equal access to sports for all participants regardless of physical ability.
