Aris terminates contracts with Tasos Donis and Marko Kerkez
Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki announced on September 7, 2026, the mutual termination of contracts with players Tasos Donis and Marko Kerkez. The club stated that this decision was part of an effort to reduce the size of the team's roster ahead of the conclusion of the transfer window.
Tasos Donis, who joined the club in the summer of 2025 following his stint at APOEL, signed a two-year deal and recorded 14 appearances with one goal during his tenure. Marko Kerkez returned to Aris for a second stint on January 13, 2026, but did not make any official appearances during this period; he had previously played only 19 minutes during his first term in the 2024-2025 season. Both players were reportedly not part of manager Michalis Grigoriou's tactical plans for the current season.
Following these departures, both players have become free agents and are now seeking new clubs to continue their professional careers. The club has officially thanked them for their contribution and wished them success in their future endeavors.
