Aris U17 crowned champions of Cyprus for the 2025/26 season

The Aris U17 football team has officially secured the Cyprus championship title for the 2025/26 season. This victory marks a significant achievement for a talented generation of players primarily born in 2008 and 2009, continuing a dominant five-year trajectory that began with their U13 championship win in 2021/22.

Throughout this five-year period, the squad maintained a remarkable record, including an unbeaten streak of approximately 50 matches. This latest title is their fourth championship win in five years. The competition for the U17 title was intense, involving rivals such as APOEL, Omonia, and Ayia Napa. A pivotal moment occurred during a high-stakes match against APOEL, where Aris overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit to secure a crucial result.

Several key players have already transitioned to professional careers abroad as a result of their development. Max Enqvist has transferred to Kalmar in Sweden, while Giorgos Kestas and Alexandros Geroukalis have joined AEK Athens in Greece, demonstrating the success of the Aris youth academy program.
