BrainRocket to fully cease operations in Cyprus

Technological company BrainRocket is reportedly preparing to shut down all of its operations in Cyprus after nearly a decade of activity. This follows a major downsizing move initiated in the summer of 2025, when the company relocated a significant portion of its operations and over 1,000 employees to Spain, specifically Valencia. Over the past month, the company has closed its remaining offices and rented spaces in Limassol, removing all branding from the buildings.

Currently, the remaining staff have been instructed to work remotely until further notice. The company, which is of Israeli ownership and focused on software and game development as well as online payment solutions, has offered compensation and relocation packages to employees willing to move abroad. While a small number of staff may be absorbed by companies under the wider Soft2Bet group or related entities, the presence of BrainRocket in the Republic of Cyprus is effectively coming to an end. At its peak, the company employed approximately 1,500 people in Limassol.
