British bases: 22 arrests in one week. Drugs, traffic accidents and a rescue at Lady’s Mile

British Bases Police in Cyprus reported 22 arrests over the past week, covering offenses including drug possession and drunk driving. Authorities conducted 31 road safety operations, leading to 57 fines and 30 warnings, while also investigating a fatal collision on the Limassol-Paphos highway. Additionally, the Marine Police rescued six individuals at Lady’s Mile following a boat mechanical failure, and anti-poaching units continued operations to dismantle illegal bird trapping equipment.
