Food delivery driver assaulted and robbed in Erimi

Police in the Limassol district are investigating a robbery targeting a 25-year-old food delivery driver that occurred in the early hours of September 8, 2026. At approximately 2:30 a.m. in the Erimi area, the victim was intercepted by two unidentified individuals while riding his motorcycle. The perpetrators assaulted the man and stole his motorcycle, as well as a waist bag containing 100 euros, before fleeing the scene.

The victim was transported to Limassol General Hospital, where he received medical treatment for his injuries and was subsequently discharged. Following the report, law enforcement authorities conducted a search and located the stolen motorcycle abandoned in an open plot of land in Limassol.

The Episkopi Police Station is currently leading the investigation. Authorities are continuing their efforts to identify and apprehend the two suspects involved in the assault and robbery. No arrests have been reported as of the latest update.
