Food delivery driver robbed in Limassol

Police in Limassol, Cyprus, are investigating a violent robbery involving a 25-year-old food delivery driver that occurred in the early hours of September 8, 2026. Around 2:30 a.m., while the victim was riding his motorcycle in the Erimi area, he was intercepted by two unidentified individuals. The suspects assaulted the victim, struck him, and forcibly stole his motorcycle along with a waist bag containing 100 euros before fleeing the scene.

The victim was transported to the Limassol General Hospital, where he received medical treatment for his injuries and was subsequently discharged. During the ongoing police investigation, officers located the stolen motorcycle abandoned in an open plot in Limassol. The Episkopi Police Station is currently conducting further inquiries to identify and apprehend the two perpetrators. The case remains open as authorities gather evidence to track the suspects.
