EOA Larnaca announces window for renewable energy applications in British Base areas

The Larnaca District Self-Government Organization (EOA) has announced a new period for submitting planning applications for commercial Renewable Energy Source (RES) projects located within the British Base areas. This submission window is scheduled to open on September 15, 2026, and will remain active for 45 days, closing on October 29, 2026.

All applications must be submitted exclusively through the 'IPPODAMOS' electronic portal. The organization emphasizes that submissions must be fully completed and strictly compliant with current legislation and procedural requirements to be considered. Failure to provide complete documentation may result in the rejection of the application.

Following the October 29 deadline, no further planning applications for commercial RES developments within the British Bases will be accepted until the official publication of the new RES Policy for the Bases. Prospective applicants are advised to ensure timely submission to avoid being excluded from this regulatory window.
