Police search for 16-year-old girl missing in Nicosia

A 16-year-old girl, Sotiroulla Oikonomidou, has been reported missing in Nicosia, Cyprus. According to the police, she was last seen leaving her residence at 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026, and has not been heard from since.

The missing teenager is described as having a slim build and standing 1.63 meters tall, with long black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a beige shirt, black sweatpants, and white and black athletic shoes. Local authorities are treating the case with urgency and are currently conducting a search for her whereabouts.
