Three minors reported missing in Nicosia

The Cyprus Police have issued public appeals for assistance in locating three missing minors who were reported absent from their residences in Nicosia within the past few days. The first case involves 16-year-old Sotiroulla Oikonomidou, who has been missing since 5 p.m. on September 8, 2026. She is described as having a slim build, standing 1.63 meters tall with long black hair, and was last seen wearing a beige shirt with black athletic wear.

Additionally, authorities are searching for 16-year-old Medhat Aldarwish, a Syrian national, missing since the morning of September 9, 2026, and 13-year-old Sabah Alsadi from Romania, who was reported missing on September 10, 2026. Aldarwish is approximately 1.67 meters tall with black hair and dark eyes, while Alsadi is 1.55 meters tall with a medium build and long black hair. Police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department at 22802222, the nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Line at 1460.
