European Researchers' Night to mark 20th anniversary in Nicosia

The European Researchers’ Night will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia. This year’s event marks the 20th anniversary of the initiative in Cyprus, operating under the theme “CELEBRATE 2.0 – Two Decades of STEAM-Powered Inspiration.”

The event is organised by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) in collaboration with major local research and innovation stakeholders. Designed to be family-friendly, the exhibition aims to engage visitors of all ages with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with researchers, academics, scientists, and innovative entrepreneurs.

Since its inception in 2006, the event has grown into the largest exhibition of its kind in Cyprus, dedicated to promoting scientific knowledge and research. Over the past two decades, the initiative has hosted thousands of students and members of the public, serving as a key platform for connecting the research community with the general public to foster interest in innovation.
