Christos Mouzakitis debuts for Hull City following his summer transfer

Greek midfielder Christos Mouzakitis has officially made his debut for Hull City, following his summer transfer from Olympiacos. The 19-year-old player entered the field in the 60th minute, replacing Robinho Vaz during a League Cup match against Sunderland. Despite his efforts, Hull City suffered a 1-0 defeat and was eliminated from the tournament.

During his 35 minutes of play, including stoppage time, Mouzakitis operated primarily in an attacking midfield role. Statistical analysis of his performance shows he recorded 10 touches, 4 out of 7 successful passes, one key pass, and three ball recoveries, though he also lost possession five times. This transition to English football comes after the player expressed his excitement to reunite with his former Olympiacos teammate, Konstantinos Tzolakis, who is also currently playing for the English club.
