Etek announces its sixth annual participatory budget with €100,000 in funding
The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (Etek) has officially launched the application process for its sixth annual participatory budget. The initiative aims to provide €100,000 in total funding to support projects and actions proposed by its members. Individual grants of up to €20,000 per project are available to successful applicants, who must demonstrate how their initiatives will deliver practical benefits to both the profession and the wider Cypriot society.
To be eligible, proposals must align with Etek’s core objectives and mandates. Applications can be submitted by individual members or legal entities, provided that every submission is countersigned by at least two additional members of the chamber. A specialized five-member committee will be responsible for evaluating all project submissions.
Interested parties must submit their completed application forms electronically to cyprus@etek.org.cy no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026. Detailed information regarding the terms and specific requirements is available on the official Etek website. This program continues the chamber's multi-year tradition of fostering professional outreach and tangible public impact through member-led initiatives.
