Traffic arrangements announced for Popi Christoforou funeral in Limassol

The funeral service for the late Popi Christoforou is scheduled to take place on September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Church of Agia Triada in Limassol. Due to the expected high turnout of mourners, local authorities and the Limassol Municipality Traffic Department have implemented special traffic arrangements to ensure public safety and minimize congestion in the surrounding area.

Authorities strongly advise attendees to avoid using private vehicles if possible and to utilize public parking facilities, including the multi-story municipal parking lot on Salaminos Street and the municipal areas at Epichosi. For those who must drive to the church, the authorities have mandated that Zinas Street will operate with a southward flow. Access to the church grounds will be restricted, with only the eastern entrance remaining open for vehicular traffic to facilitate orderly arrivals and departures.
