Cyprus sends three athletes to the 2026 Balkan Equestrian Championships

Cyprus is set to be represented by three female athletes at the 2026 Balkan Equestrian Championships, competing in the disciplines of Show Jumping and Dressage. The participants qualified for these regional games based on their consistent performance and results in recent competitions, marking a significant step for the international standing of Cypriot equestrian sports.

The competition begins in Thessaloniki, Greece, where Elisavet Kim will compete in the Balkan Show Jumping Championship held at the Ippos Club from September 10 to 13. Following this, the focus will shift to Belgrade, Serbia, where athletes Anna Maria Solovidi and Evdokia Nazarova are scheduled to participate in the Balkan Dressage Championship at SC Kovilovo from September 17 to 20.

According to the Cyprus Equestrian Federation, this dual participation is part of a broader strategic effort to increase the country's international presence and provide athletes with more opportunities to compete on the global stage. The Federation expressed confidence in the athletes' preparedness following their recent successful performance record.
