Pafos FC signs Portuguese defender Jonatas Noro from Braga

Pafos FC has completed the permanent transfer of 21-year-old central defender Jonatas Noro from the Portuguese club SC Braga. The player signed a three-year contract that will keep him at the Cypriot club until the summer of 2029.

Noro is a product of Braga's youth academy, having developed through their youth and reserve squads before eventually making his debut for the first team. He has also represented Portugal at various youth international levels, ranging from U18 to U21. In his new role at Pafos FC, he will reinforce the defensive line alongside teammates such as David Luiz, Goldar, and Mae.

While this signing is intended to provide depth to the squad, the club noted that Noro will not be eligible to participate in the Conference League. The move serves as both an investment in a young talent and a strategic effort to bolster the team's rotation for domestic competitions.
