85-year-old in critical condition after being struck by a reversing vehicle

An 85-year-old man is in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital after being struck by a vehicle reversing in the Anthoupolis area yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when the 38-year-old driver hit the pedestrian, resulting in the victim suffering a brain hemorrhage. While the driver's alcohol test was negative, his preliminary drug test returned a positive result.
