Ahead of the upcoming basketball season, Dimitris Giannakopoulos hosted a unity lunch in Attica for the players, coaching staff, and organization members of Panathinaikos BC. The event served to foster team spirit and set goals for the new campaign, marking the return of Zeljko Obradovic to the team's coaching staff.
During the gathering, Giannakopoulos addressed the team and staff, highlighting the growth of the organization compared to previous years. Zeljko Obradovic expressed his gratitude for returning to the club, noting that the organization has expanded significantly since his departure in 2012. He emphasized his commitment to achieving success and building upon the legacy established during his previous thirteen-year tenure with the club.
The team is now entering a period of competitive preparation, following the tournament in Rhodes. The club's focus shifts to the upcoming 8th 'Pavlos Giannakopoulos' tournament, a prestigious event in European basketball. The organization aims to maintain this positive momentum as they finalize their preparations for official league play.
