Limassol Wine Festival to take place from September 26 to October 4, 2026

The Municipality of Limassol is preparing to host the annual Wine Festival, which will take place in the Municipal Park from September 26 to October 4, 2026. This year's event emphasizes local traditions, Cypriot hospitality, and authentic entertainment, serving as a significant cultural gathering for the city.

The festival will officially open on Saturday, September 26, with a traditional ceremony held at the Vrakas statue. The opening concert will feature Vasiliki Chatziadamou, Sotos Gonios, and the Limassol Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Giorgos Krasidis, with Giorgos Spyrou performing on the bouzouki. Throughout the nine-day duration, the festival will provide a diverse cultural program, including theatrical performances, folk group showcases, and a total of 14 concerts held at two main venues: the 'Under the Vrakas' stage and the Marios Tokas Municipal Garden Theatre. The event aims to highlight both Greek and Cypriot musical traditions while offering a variety of entertainment options for all visitors.
