Epilogi participates in the second TRANSFORMED symposium in Alexandria

The Cultural Movement “Epilogi,” acting as a partner in the European project TRANSFORMED, participated in the 2nd Community Engagement Symposium held on July 30 and 31, 2026, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt. The event was hosted by the Anna Lindh Foundation, which serves as the lead partner for the initiative. This meeting followed an inaugural symposium previously held in Limassol, Cyprus, marking a shift in the collaborative dialogue to Egypt.

The TRANSFORMED project is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED programme. It facilitates cooperation between local authorities and civil society organizations from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, and Egypt. The project focuses on fostering social inclusion, participatory governance, and active citizenship. Constantia Costi represented the Cypriot perspective during the sessions. The primary goal of the collaboration is to share knowledge and develop governance models that are built in cooperation with local communities rather than solely through institutional documentation. By creating a Mediterranean network, the project aims to ensure that the successes and experiences of one city serve as practical tools for others, promoting a more inclusive approach to urban development and civic participation across the region.
