Mercedes-Benz unveils the first all-electric C-Class

Mercedes-Benz officially unveiled its first all-electric C-Class on September 10, 2026, marking a significant evolution for the brand's historic model line. The new vehicle combines a specialized electric architecture with advanced digital technologies, positioning it as the sportiest C-Class produced to date.

The exterior design features a low front profile, a coupe-like silhouette, and a dynamic rear, achieving a drag coefficient as low as Cd 0.22. A standout visual element is the illuminated grille, which incorporates 1,050 lighting components, while the headlights feature a distinct star pattern. The model offers optional AIRMATIC air suspension and four-wheel steering up to 4.5 degrees, reducing the turning radius to 11.2 meters. The vehicle's suspension system can proactively adjust to road conditions by utilizing Car-to-X data and Google Maps information.

Inside, the cabin is dominated by the latest iteration of the MBUX system, reflecting the company’s focus on high-performance digitalization. This release signifies a strategic shift for the C-Class as the manufacturer transitions its core lineup toward full electrification.
