EAC services to be interrupted for scheduled IT upgrades on Saturday

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) has announced a scheduled period of technical maintenance on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The work is part of an ongoing project to upgrade the organization's information technology systems.

During this maintenance period, which is set to take place between 15:30 and 19:00, access to several digital services will be affected. Specifically, the EAC website, the EAC Mobile App, and the organization's email services will be temporarily unavailable. Additionally, the EAC call centers, reachable via the telephone numbers 1800 and 1818, will experience service disruptions.

The EAC has requested public understanding regarding these temporary inconveniences, noting that the upgrades are necessary to improve their technical infrastructure. Normal operations are expected to resume once the maintenance window concludes in the early evening.
