Bruma set to join Aris Thessaloniki
Portuguese winger Bruma is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki this Sunday, September 13, to finalize a move to the Greek club Aris. The 31-year-old player has reached an agreement with the club on a 1+1 year contract, departing from Benfica as a free agent following the termination of his existing contract, which was originally set to expire in 2028.
Bruma, who previously played in the Greek Super League for Olympiacos during the 2020/21 season, has faced significant injury challenges in recent years, recording only three official appearances last season. Benfica had previously acquired the player from Braga in 2025 for 6.5 million euros. Upon his arrival in Greece, the player will undergo medical examinations before officially signing with the team. During his previous tenure in Greece, he recorded 9 goals and 3 assists in 33 appearances.
