Basketball coaching seminar held in Nicosia

A basketball coaching seminar took place on the morning of Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Tasos Papadopoulos-Eleftheria stadium in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event was held on the sidelines of the Neofytos Chandriotis international basketball tournament, which features teams such as Olympiacos, Aris, Red Star, and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Approximately 200 Cypriot coaches attended the session to learn from prominent basketball figures, including Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas, Aris coach Vassilis Spanoulis, and Maccabi coach Oded Kattash. The seminar served as a professional development initiative, allowing the coaches to discuss basketball philosophy and technical expertise. Georgios Bartzokas was accompanied by his staff members Georgios Bozikas, Stefanos Triantafyllos, and Giannis Kalampokis, who also contributed to the presentation. The event is considered a significant addition to the coaching community in Cyprus.
