Four individuals arrested for series of burglaries in Paphos

Police in Paphos arrested four foreign nationals, aged 17 and 18, residents of Nicosia, in connection with a spree of vandalism and burglaries that occurred in the early hours of August 22. The suspects were apprehended on September 14 following court-issued warrants. According to authorities, the group is accused of carrying out 10 separate burglaries across areas including Kato Paphos, Chloraka, and Tala, targeting gas stations, pharmacies, supermarkets, and kiosks.

Investigators allege that the individuals moved between locations using the same motorcycle, smashing shop windows to gain entry. The total value of stolen cash and property is estimated to exceed 5,000 euros. Assistant Police Director of Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, confirmed that the suspects are scheduled to appear before the Paphos District Court on September 15, where police will seek detention orders to facilitate further investigation. The TAE Paphos unit continues to examine potential links between these incidents and other ongoing cases of organized criminal activity.
