Four Nicosia residents arrested for series of burglaries in Paphos
Police in Paphos arrested four foreign nationals, aged 17 and 18, residing in Nicosia, in connection with a string of burglaries and vandalism that occurred on the morning of August 22, 2026. The suspects are accused of carrying out ten separate break-ins targeting gas stations, pharmacies, supermarkets, and kiosks across areas including Kato Paphos, Chloraka, and Tala.
Investigators state that the individuals, who were allegedly traveling on a single motorcycle, shattered storefront windows to gain access to the premises. They are accused of stealing cash and various items estimated at a total value of approximately 5,000 euros. The arrests were made on September 14, 2026, following the issuance of judicial warrants by the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department (TAE).
The suspects are scheduled to appear before the Paphos District Court on September 15, 2026. During this appearance, the police will request the issuance of remand orders to facilitate further investigations into the incidents. Authorities are also examining potential links to other similar criminal activities.
