Arson incident damages motorcycle in Kiti

On September 14, 2026, a motorcycle parked in the yard of a private residence in Kiti, Larnaca district, was extensively damaged by fire. The Cyprus Fire Service received the report at 16:18, dispatching two fire engines from the Andreas Papadopoulos Fire Station in Larnaca to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that the fire had already been extinguished. The crew performed final containment measures and inspected the site, concluding that the incident was the result of a malicious act. No injuries were reported, but the motorcycle sustained significant damage due to the flames and intense heat.

Other notable incidents included a vegetation fire in Latsi, Paphos, and a house fire in Livadia, Larnaca. Authorities are continuing their investigations into these events.
