PAOK prepares for Greek Cup match against Atromitos

Following their 2-0 victory against Aris at Toumba Stadium, PAOK has resumed training in Nea Mesimvria. The team is currently preparing for their upcoming match against Atromitos in the third round of the Superbet Greek Cup, scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at 20:00 in Peristeri.

New arrival Simon Banza participated in his first full training session with his teammates and is being considered for the squad, potentially making his debut as a substitute. Conversely, the team continues to manage several injuries, including Meite, Giannoulis, Sarris, Chalov, Despodov, Lusie, and Hatzidiakos, who are either undergoing therapeutic treatment or individual programs. Aritz Elustondo returns to manager Alessio Lisi’s disposal after serving a suspension.

PAOK players who participated in the starting lineup against Aris underwent recovery sessions in the gym and pool. The squad is set to depart for Athens via charter flight on Tuesday afternoon to complete their final preparations for the second encounter in Peristeri this season, following their earlier league win.
