Limassol municipality presents plans for public square renovation

The Municipality of Limassol held a public presentation on Monday, September 14, 2026, regarding the revitalization of 'Public Square D3', located at the intersection of Theodosi Chatzitheodosiou, Zola, and Christou Apostolidou streets in the Agia Fyla district.

This project is part of a larger municipal initiative titled 'Revitalization of Public Squares within the Framework of Upgrading the Urban Environment in Limassol,' which aims to renovate 24 public squares across the city. The design study for sections D and E of this project was conducted by Eupalinos Meletitiki E.P.E. during a session held at the 25th Primary School of Limassol. The final plans were developed after integrating feedback collected from local residents during an earlier consultation meeting held at the City Hall.

The municipality continues to conduct public consultations to allow citizens and stakeholders to contribute to the urban planning process, ensuring that the final outcomes align with community needs. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve the quality of life and urban infrastructure in various neighborhoods throughout the city.
