Temu and CITEA partner to boost digital entrepreneurship in Cyprus
The e-commerce platform Temu and the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) have signed a cooperation agreement to support the local digital business community. The partnership aims to promote innovation, digital transformation, and the international expansion of Cypriot enterprises by facilitating their access to global markets through Temu's infrastructure.
Under this agreement, Temu will actively participate in events, programs, and local initiatives organized by CITEA to engage with its member companies. CITEA will assist its members in connecting with the Temu platform, enabling them to leverage digital tools for growth. Both organizations also plan to conduct joint communication campaigns to educate local merchants on current digital commerce opportunities.
This agreement builds upon Temu's existing operations in Cyprus, following the 2025 launch of its 'Local Seller Program'. That program was designed to provide eligible local businesses with access to a broader European customer base. With the support of CITEA President George Malekkos, the new initiative seeks to further integrate Cypriot entrepreneurs into the global digital economy.
