Temu partners with CITEA to support Cypriot businesses

Global e-commerce platform Temu has officially partnered with the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) to foster digital transformation and support the international expansion of local companies. This collaboration, announced on September 15, 2026, aims to connect Cyprus's technology and business community with global markets, enhancing their digital competitiveness and providing access to new customer bases.

Under the terms of the agreement, Temu will participate in various programs, events, and initiatives organized by CITEA for its network of member companies. CITEA, representing the local ICT sector, will facilitate connections between its members and the Temu platform. Both parties plan to launch joint communication initiatives to inform local merchants about opportunities to utilize digital tools, while showcasing successful case studies of companies leveraging the platform for growth.

This partnership builds upon Temu's existing activities in the region, specifically the 2025 launch of the 'Local Seller Program'. That program was designed to give eligible Cypriot businesses access to the European market. By strengthening the link between the association and the global marketplace, the initiative serves as a continuation of CITEA's broader strategy to support the internationalization of the Cypriot technology ecosystem.
