Cyprus hosts the 20th anniversary of the European Researchers' Night

Cyprus will host the 20th edition of the European Researchers' Night on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Cyprus International State Fair in Nicosia. Organized by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), this annual event aims to promote science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, known collectively as STEAM, to the public.

The event runs from 08:30 to 22:00 and features over 75 exhibition stands and more than 80 interactive activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with researchers, academics, and innovators through experiments, workshops, simulations, and competitions tailored for families and children. This year's theme, "Celebrate 2.0 – Two Decades of STEAM-Powered Inspiration," marks 20 years since the inception of the event in Cyprus in 2006, highlighting two decades of scientific progress and innovation within the country's research ecosystem.
