Water supply disruptions reported in Limassol district
Recent water supply disruptions have been reported in two areas within the Limassol district due to faults in the local water network. On September 14, 2026, parts of the Kato Polemidia municipal district experienced water cuts affecting numerous streets, including Kyrillou Loukareos, Panagias Evangelistrias, and Nikou Xylouri, with repairs expected to be completed by 14:00.
Subsequently, on September 15, 2026, the community of Palodia also faced a temporary water supply interruption. The Limassol Provincial Self-Government Organization (EOA) confirmed that crews were dispatched to both locations to address the technical failures. The EOA estimated that water service in Palodia would be restored by 13:00 on the same day. Affected streets in Palodia include Marios Tokas, Eleftherias, Mikras Asias, and Nikou Evagorou Avenue. The public was requested to remain patient as maintenance teams worked to resolve the issues.
