Lemesos Municipal String Quartet to perform in Belgrade

The Lemesos Municipal String Quartet is scheduled to perform a concert on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The event will take place at the ARTGET Gallery, located within the Cultural Center of Belgrade.

The ensemble consists of violinists Andreas Nicolaou and Giorgos Hadjigeorgiou, violist Andreas Keliris, and cellist Evgenia Karapataki. Their program features a blend of classical compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonín Dvořák alongside contemporary works by Cypriot composers Vasos Argyridis, Andros Papapavlou, Andreas Keliris, and Amina Garcevic. Founded in 2000, the quartet is recognized for its commitment to chamber music and its long-standing dedication to promoting Cypriot musical creation by integrating modern local compositions with the classical repertoire.
