German social media creator dies in Cyprus drowning incident
Riccardo Staudt, a 22-year-old German national widely known online as Noah Segsy, died following a drowning incident in Cyprus. Staudt, who gained popularity as an adult content creator on platforms such as OnlyFans with over 200,000 followers, was found unconscious in a swimming pool at an apartment complex in Paralimni, Famagusta district, on the evening of August 24, 2026.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene at approximately 9:20 p.m. Despite being transported to the Famagusta General Hospital, medical personnel were unable to resuscitate him and declared him dead. A subsequent post-mortem examination officially identified the cause of death as drowning. While toxicology reports have been conducted, the results remain private, and the precise circumstances leading up to the incident are still under investigation.
Initially, local reports identified the victim only as a 22-year-old German male without naming him. His identity was eventually confirmed following an influx of tributes from followers on his social media accounts, which linked the incident to the online persona Noah Segsy.
